Situation
A new project opportunity comes your way. What kind of information should you gather about it to assess its potential value to you; when you can start it; and how taking it on might affect the rest of your projects?
What We Do
We first help you define the criteria and weights by which you evaluate a project’s value and degree of difficulty. Then we facilitate your development of some basic data on the projects, evaluate them, and analyze the results. Finally we guide you through the effort to set the priority order among the projects and a high-level, pre-planned desired schedule for each.
How We Do It
We use a simple process supported by a few simple tools. You (the client) do not need to buy and learn new software.
Project Portfolio Alignment
While there is an initial questionnaire, and some back-andforth as we setup and configure the tool, as well as a short ondemand tutorial video, the time demand on the client to launch a sustainable project portfolio alignment practice is small.
